Overview

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) specializes in enterprise identity, providing strategic technical guidance to Okta’s customers and ensuring their success with Okta’s products.

In Short

  • Advise customers on best practices and product adoption.
  • Partner with Customer Success Managers.
  • Earn customer trust by understanding their goals.
  • Maintain focus on increasing subscription adoption.
  • Review customer architectures and Okta configurations.
  • Respond to reactive questions from Customer Success Managers.
  • Establish strong personal relationships with key accounts.
  • Participate in content creation for enablement.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in information technology, with 3 years as a TAM or similar role.
  • Ability to work US Time Zone preferred.
  • Proficiency in IAM technologies and protocols.
  • Familiarity with IAM solution providers.
  • Strong background in Technical Account Management or similar roles.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to track and influence customer behavior.
  • BA/BS/MS in Computer Science or related discipline required.
