Senior Microsoft 365 (O365) Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and highly skilled Senior Microsoft 365 (O365) Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise collaboration services across a network of 70 hospitals.

In Short

• Lead the design and implementation of Microsoft 365 services.
• Define and enforce governance, security, compliance, and lifecycle policies.
• Provide Tier 3 support for escalated M365 issues.
• Monitor and optimize performance across Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Implement data protection strategies including DLP and retention policies.
• Mentor junior O365 engineers and support staff.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams for seamless service delivery.
• Maintain documentation including runbooks and knowledge base content.
• Participate in after-hours maintenance and on-call rotations.
• Fast-paced, collaborative environment supporting business-critical platforms.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 engineering roles.
• Expertise in Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Azure AD, and Intune.
• Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
• Experience in hybrid environments with Azure AD Connect.
• Deep understanding of M365 security and compliance capabilities.
• Familiarity with ITSM systems.
• Must be U.S.-based and authorized to work without sponsorship.
