Software Solutions Engineer, E-commerce - Remote

Overview

Solutions Engineers at Okendo work closely with customers and internal teams to understand, scope, and build customized software solutions for Okendo’s e-commerce merchants. You will become a highly knowledgeable product and integration expert and you will work directly as an engineer to build and deliver technical solutions.

• Provide technical product expertise during pre-sale and post-sale processes.
• Collaborate with tech and agency partners for custom functionality development.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of Okendo’s products and integrations.
• Gather technical requirements and recommend solutions to customers.
• Build relationships with key customer stakeholders.
• Communicate customer feedback and product bugs to the Product and Engineering teams.
• Manage projects independently in a waterfall environment.
• Utilize creative and critical thinking skills to solve complex issues.
• Work remotely in Australia.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a software developer.
• Intermediate/Advanced expertise with Typescript, HTML/CSS, Javascript, Node, React, Angular, AWS.
• Knowledge of the Shopify environment, Shopify Liquid, and Shopify’s API.
• Strong interpersonal skills for customer and internal staff interaction.
• Ability to take initiative and manage projects independently.
• Creative and critical thinking skills.
