In Short

• First hire for the new grocery and pantry vertical.
• Build supplier relationships and product pipeline from scratch.
• Focus on overproduced, surplus, and short-dated products.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and inventory teams.
• Own the margin structure and profitability of the pantry line.
• Champion Odd Bunch's mission to reduce food waste.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Analyze and iterate on financial models as the vertical scales.
• Engage with the subscriber base to align product offerings.
• Represent Odd Bunch at industry events and supplier meetings.

Requirements

• 2-4+ years in CPG, food, retail buying, or business development.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Analytical mindset with P&L experience.
• Self-starter attitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Digitally savvy and operationally efficient.
• Passionate about sustainability and food systems.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
