Overview

Octopus Deploy is seeking a Technical Account Manager to support strategic customers in achieving deployment excellence, leveraging technical knowledge and relationship-building skills.

In Short

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for enterprise accounts.
  • Develop relationships with customer technical teams.
  • Identify opportunities to expand customer engagement.
  • Advocate for customer needs in product planning.
  • Guide customers through Kubernetes deployment scenarios.
  • Help implement GitOps workflows.
  • Conduct technical health checks and provide recommendations.
  • Lead technical workshops and training sessions.
  • Troubleshoot deployment issues and coordinate with engineering.
  • Align technical solutions with customer business objectives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a technical customer-facing role.
  • Proficient in German and English.
  • Experience with Octopus Deploy or similar tools.
  • Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD) preferred.
  • Background in software development or system administration is a bonus.
  • Hands-on Kubernetes experience.
  • Experience with GitOps implementation.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Self-directed work style with multiple customer management.
  • Continuous learning mindset.
