Overview

Octopus Deploy is seeking a Technical Account Manager to support our strategic customers in achieving deployment excellence, serving as a trusted advisor and merging technical knowledge with relationship-building abilities.

In Short

  • Serve as the primary technical contact for enterprise accounts.
  • Develop relationships with customer technical teams.
  • Identify opportunities for customer engagement expansion.
  • Advocate for customer needs in product planning.
  • Guide customers through Kubernetes deployment scenarios.
  • Help implement and optimize GitOps workflows.
  • Conduct technical health checks and provide recommendations.
  • Lead technical workshops and training sessions.
  • Troubleshoot complex deployment issues.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify expansion opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a technical customer-facing role.
  • Proficient in German and English.
  • Experience with Octopus Deploy or similar tools.
  • Kubernetes certifications are ideal.
  • Background in software development or system administration is a bonus.
  • Hands-on Kubernetes experience.
  • Experience with GitOps implementation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Self-directed work style with multiple customer management.
  • Continuous learning mindset in DevOps practices.
