Overview

The Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) is an entry-level engineering role responsible for providing professional remote technical support to clients by identifying and resolving technical incidents and problems.

In Short

  • Operate in the region and provide remote technical support.
  • Identify and resolve technical incidents and problems.
  • Ensure all requests and incidents meet service level agreements (SLA).
  • Use service assurance software to diagnose problems.
  • Carry out agreed maintenance tasks and document incidents.
  • Cooperate with stakeholders to expedite diagnosis and resolution.
  • Maintain knowledge of vendor technologies such as Cisco and Juniper.
  • Provide continuous feedback to clients and update systems accordingly.
  • Entry-level experience in networking technologies required.
  • Promote a positive client experience throughout the total client journey.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or related field.
  • Entry-level knowledge of networking technologies and technical support.
  • Associate level certification in networking technologies preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across different cultures.
  • Ability to maintain a positive outlook and work under pressure.
  • Strong active listening and client-focused skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Entry-level experience in diagnosis and troubleshooting.
  • Entry-level experience providing remote support.
  • Willingness to grow and take on new challenges.
