Remote Service Engineer

Overview

A Remote Service Engineer serves as a technical and administrative Engineer for remote support of customer equipment. In this role a Remote Service Engineer will complete customer service assignments including remote maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and commissioning activities on EPC Power conversion systems. The Remote Service Engineer will also be the single point of contact for all connected equipment.

• Provide remote maintenance, commissioning, diagnostic troubleshooting, and repair services.
• Ensure all customer expectations are met or exceeded.
• Must have basic knowledge of utility grid equipment maintenance.
• Accurately report and update all equipment histories.
• Solve problems with minimal supervision.
• Capable of reading technical drawings and manuals.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Manufacturing Teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Monitor and maintain all connected equipment.
• Work with the Remote Service Manager for timely customer support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or similar technical field.
• Ability to comply with safety policies.
• Experience commissioning multi-MW energy projects.
• Experience with commercial and industrial electrical power.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 25% of the time.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to communicate technical progress and challenges.
