Overview

The Product Support Technician will provide technical support to customers regarding NRTC products and services, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through effective troubleshooting and assistance.

In Short

  • Answer inbound technical support calls, chats, and emails.
  • Install and update software for customers.
  • Remove viruses and troubleshoot client issues.
  • Provide backup assistance and customer service-related solutions.
  • Consult with customers and upsell products and services.
  • Work in a 24/7/365 call center environment.
  • Maintain professionalism in all customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with peers and supervisors for complex inquiries.
  • Perform technical troubleshooting on various devices.
  • Follow up on unresolved customer inquiries.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Familiarity with remote connection tools.
  • College coursework in computer-related field is a plus.
  • Experience with virus identification and resolution.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware issues remotely.
  • Prior customer service or call center experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Desire to work in a help desk environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Computer Science degree preferred.

Benefits

  • Starting pay $15.50/hr - $16.50/hr.
