IT Support Technician - Remote

In Short

• Provide technical assistance and helpdesk support for computer systems, software, and hardware issues.
• Track incidents and calls accurately in a database.
• Deploy equipment for new employees and manage logistics.
• Create and modify accounts and services across various platforms.
• Maintain performance of computer systems and train employees on IT solutions.
• Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
• Resolve technical problems with LAN, WAN, and other systems.
• Assist with A/V equipment setup for meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding corporate information.
• Exhibit strong customer service skills.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of helpdesk support experience; recent graduates may apply.
• Intermediate knowledge of MacOS and Windows operating systems.
• Understanding of networking technology, including TCP/IP, LANs, and WANs.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with OKTA or other Identity Management Platforms.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems is a plus.
• Desire to learn and grow in the IT field.
• Ability to work in the NYC office 4 days a week with Fridays being remote.
