Assistant Project Manager - Remote

Overview

The Assistant Construction Project Manager will assist in planning, directing, and coordinating activities pertaining to the construction and maintenance of solar projects in accordance with company policies and governmental regulations.

In Short

• Work with Project Management team to organize, plan, direct, coordinate, and report onsite construction activities.
• Assist in leading the construction effort from estimating, management, and scheduling.
• Communicate with subcontractors and assist with purchase orders.
• Maintain quality relationships with utility companies.
• Read and understand project documentation.
• Develop preliminary schedules and facilitate scheduling standards.
• Create reports for project team within Procore.
• Analyze design/construction changes and communicate issues.
• Assist managers in cost savings through vendor negotiations.
• Maintain a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Requires frequent inspection of the project in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or related field.
• One year minimum experience in related field.
• Proficiency with reading blueprints and Microsoft Office.
• Experience working in solar construction.
