Assistant Project Manager - Remote

Overview

The Assistant Project Manager (APM) supports the Senior Project Manager in overseeing commercial construction projects from start to closeout, ensuring project goals around budget, schedule, quality, and safety are achieved while developing leadership skills.

In Short

• Support project managers with project execution—tracking budgets, managing schedules, and coordinating resources.
• Draft and issue subcontracts, purchase orders, and vendor agreements with accuracy.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, and product data to ensure compliance.
• Maintain job cost logs, procurement trackers, and cost-to-complete reports.
• Serve as a key point of contact for subcontractors, vendors, and field teams.
• Attend site meetings, document progress, and help keep everything on track.
• Assist with project closeout, including warranties and final billing.
• Communicate with clients, architects, and the internal team professionally.
• Ideal candidates are team-oriented, clear communicators, and proactive.
• Working hours follow an 8.5-hour day Monday through Thursday, with every other Friday as a half-day.
