Overview

As a Staff Backend Engineer at Notabene, you'll be pivotal in shaping how crypto transactions are securely cleared and settled at scale worldwide.

In Short

• Design, build, and maintain high-throughput, low-latency microservices.
• Work closely with product, engineering, compliance, and customer-facing teams.
• Develop and execute the Transactions team roadmap.
• Scope and drive large-scale technical projects end-to-end.
• Mentor and support engineers throughout the organization.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven track record in building and optimizing high-throughput systems.
• Proficient in back-end languages such as Node.js/Typescript/Deno.
• Expertise in event-driven microservices development.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL optimization.
• Hands-on experience deploying services on AWS.
• Strong understanding of security principles.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
