Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Accountant in Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting at NIQ, you will play a critical role in supporting the company’s external financial reporting and technical accounting functions.

In Short

• Prepare and draft SEC filings including 10-Q, 10-K and 8-K reports.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments.
• Ensure compliance with SOX internal controls.
• Conduct financial statement and trend analysis.
• Research new financial reporting requirements.
• Prepare monthly stock compensation expense calculations.
• Support technical accounting processes in complex areas.
• Assist with the external audit process.
• Maintain supporting documentation for disclosures.
• Perform account analyses and supporting schedules.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA or actively pursuing professional licensure.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in public accounting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail oriented with a proactive approach.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Familiarity with US GAAP and IFRS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
