Payroll Specialist (Japanese Speaker) - Remote

Overview

The Payroll Specialist is a critical role within the APAC Payroll COE team, responsible for ensuring accurate HRIS data and payroll delivery while collaborating with various stakeholders.

In Short

• Facilitate execution of company and local payroll policies.
• Data entry and maintenance in HR systems (HRIS & Workday).
• Monthly data reconciliation between HRIS and Workday.
• Process payroll for all employee types.
• Prepare bank reports and arrange payments.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Optimize payroll systems and manage vendors.
• Collaborate with the APAC payroll team for continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with Japanese payroll regulations.
• Organize and execute daily payroll tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of HR and payroll experience.
• Fluent in Japanese and English.
• Knowledge of Workday/Alight payroll systems is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong organizational and logical skills.
