Overview

As a Software Engineer, you'll be part of a team of smart, highly skilled technologists who are passionate about learning and prototyping cutting-edge technologies.

In Short

• Work on the new “Activate” platform, a unified, global, open data ecosystem powered by Microsoft Azure.
• Write complex, maintainable code to develop scalable, flexible and user-friendly applications.
• Develop highly available, high performance, cloud-native applications.
• Leverage multiple first- and third-party data sources.
• Develop highly efficient data access RESTful APIs.
• Work with Jira and SCRUM agile methodology.
• Interact with stakeholders around the world.
• Be part of a co-located and agile team.
• Utilize CI/CD with GitHub actions.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and understand microservices architecture.

Requirements

• Minimum B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 2-3 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Strong fundamentals in back-end object-oriented programming, including proficiency in Python and Big Data.
• Sound SDLC skills, preferably with experience in an agile environment.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Desirable to know how to integrate RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
