Senior Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer at NICE, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality software that meets specified functional and non-functional requirements within the time and resource constraints given.

In Short

• Work with specialist software engineers, architects, and managers in the design process for software products and services.
• Communicate software designs through code and documentation.
• Lead the end-to-end implementation and support of the software.
• Ensure design and quality levels are met through regular code reviews and testing.
• Contribute high volumes of quality code in regular releases and deployments.
• Lead a scrum team of developers and QA engineers.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 8+ years of development experience in Java.
• Experience with Spring and Spring Boot for web applications.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js.
• Good to have experience in Microsoft .NET using C#.
• Familiarity with JMS/Kafka and API Gateway.
• Experience with RESTful API development and microservice architecture.
• Experience with databases like Postgres, Redis, and Amazon Aurora.
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with CI/CD using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience in Agile methodology and using JIRA.
