Overview

The Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist at Newton-Wellesley Hospital is responsible for the interpretation, verification, order entry, compounding, and dispensing of pharmaceuticals for patients across various age groups, ensuring safe and effective medication use.

• Responsible for medication order interpretation and verification.
• Clinically assess medication orders for appropriateness.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree required.
• Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy Licensure required.
• 1-4 years clinical pharmacy experience preferred.
• Completion of ASHP accredited Pharmacy Residency preferred.
• Board Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of medication management for adult patients required.
