Overview

The clinical staff pharmacist is responsible for all aspects of assessing, verifying, dispensing, labeling, storing, recording, and using pharmaceutical preparations for patients throughout McLean Hospital. They ensure optimal clinical care in the acute and residential/partial psychiatric setting, collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • BS and/or PharmD from an accredited College of Pharmacy.
  • Current unrestricted pharmacy licensure in Massachusetts.
  • Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Residency experience and Board Certification preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and handle stress appropriately.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with computerized order entry systems.
  • Knowledge of medication management and safety practices.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Commitment to continuous quality improvement.
