Overview

The New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) is seeking a full-time Distributed Resources Operations Analyst to manage the participation of demand response and distributed energy resources in NYISO markets.

• Manage demand response and distributed energy resource participation in NYISO markets.
• Administer the Special Case Resource and Emergency Demand Response programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields; Master’s preferred.
• Knowledge of Power Systems Engineering or Economics.
• Three or more years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience with energy management or demand response.
• Ability to analyze complex data and create technical documentation.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software.
• Ability to code in MATLAB, Python, SQL, or similar languages.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts.
• Ability to learn new software programs.
