Operations Research Analyst - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations Research Analyst, with government agency experience, to develop mathematical and simulation modeling approaches and prototypes. You will work with community-leading data scientists and engineers to develop research techniques for solving management and operational problems of critical IT and cybersecurity systems and networks.

In Short

• Experience using a variety of modeling approaches for solving management and operational problems.
• Gather modeling requirements from stakeholders.
• Develop and run mathematical or simulation modeling prototypes.
• Perform validation and testing of models.
• Prepare reports of modeling approach and results.
• Brief modeling results to stakeholders.
• May help in the development of training materials in Operations Research techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or Management Science.
• 10 years of experience required with a BS (or 8 years experience with an MS or 6 years experience with a PhD).
• TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.
• Four years experience in the application of M&S to Decision Analysis problems.
• Four years experience in the application of M&S to Cost/Benefit Analysis problems.
• Experience using several products: PANDAS, R, EXCEL/VBA, ARENA, Tableau, MATLAB, etc.
