The Tissue Donation Coordinator plays a crucial role in guiding donor families through the tissue donation process, impacting countless lives through organ and tissue donation.

In Short

  • Handle incoming donor referral calls from hospital staff and clinical partners.
  • Work empathetically with potential donor families to advocate for donation.
  • Coordinate logistics of tissue recoveries with partners and stakeholders.
  • Provide exemplary customer service while communicating with various stakeholders.
  • Work three 12-hour shifts per week with flexible scheduling.
  • Participate in a fully hybrid staffing model with both remote and onsite shifts.
  • Support a 24-hour mission including weekends and holidays.
  • Be part of a team dedicated to saving lives through organ and tissue donation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and one year of relevant experience, or an Associate’s degree with 3+ years of experience.
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Excellent telephone communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility and a positive attitude are essential.
  • Ability to work remotely and onsite in Waltham, MA.
