Finance Partner for R&D - Remote

Overview

The Netskope Finance Team is looking for an experienced and hands-on finance professional to take on an active role in the R&D finance function. Reporting to the Sr Director of Finance, this role will partner closely with R&D leaders to drive financial/strategic execution for the company’s business. We need a highly quantitative and analytical business partner for this role - someone who has a successful track record of partnering with budget owners and presenting data to assist in decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will be someone who excels not only at analyzing the data and metrics but also at presenting the data in a compelling manner to drive positive change. In Short

• Assist in budget management, including headcount planning and expense forecasting.
• Support Accounting in the month-end close process.
• Partner with team members for forecasting and analyzing program spend.
• Create monthly and quarterly expense reports focused on variance analysis.
• Participate in the annual planning process.

Requirements

• 4+ years of finance experience in high-growth technology, with Cloud/SaaS experience.
• Marketing and/or GTM-function finance experience preferred.
• Deep understanding of P&L components, U.S. GAAP, and common SaaS metrics.
• Experience in cultivating collaborative working relationships.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets proficiency required.
• Systems experience with Netsuite, Adaptive Insights, Workday, and/or Salesforce is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
