Overview

As a Senior Payroll Specialist for APAC, you will manage in-house payroll operations for Australia and oversee outsourced payroll services for the APAC region, playing a pivotal role in a global payroll team.

• Manage end-to-end payroll for Australia and oversee APAC payroll operations.
• Ensure compliance with local payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
• Run payroll in-house using Workday Payroll.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, and external vendors for payroll processing.
• Address payroll queries and support employees.
• Contribute to month-end and year-end payroll close processes.
• Drive process improvements and implement payroll-related projects.
• Maintain payroll documentation and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external advisors.
• Work in a hybrid setup with 3 days onsite in Singapore.

Requirements

• 5+ years of payroll experience, especially in Australian payroll.
• Experience with Workday Payroll or similar systems.
• Strong understanding of APAC payroll legislation.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proactive and highly organized.
• Experience in leading process improvements.
• Familiarity with additional APAC languages is a plus.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
