Technical Consultant (Freelance) - Remote

Overview

As a Technical Consultant, you will work onsite in Bahrain for two weeks each month and then remotely for the following three weeks, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver technical solutions for a prestigious financial organization.

In Short

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements.
• Perform minor changes and enhancements in J2EE applications and Oracle PL/SQL code.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts.
• Assist in backlog refinement and planning.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to data and application processes.
• Develop expertise in the social security domain.
• Support software testing, validation, and documentation.
• Facilitate technical discussions and workshops.
• Manage scope changes and communicate updates.
• Provide regular reports on project progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in consulting or software engineering.
• Hands-on experience with J2EE development and Oracle PL/SQL.
• Ability to troubleshoot application and database issues.
• Experience in stakeholder management and communication.
• Proven experience in software development lifecycle.
• Solid understanding of Agile frameworks.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
