Clinical Data Abstractor - Remote

Overview

The Clinical Data Abstractor will procure and manage patient data from medical records to support the company's mission in improving patient care.

In Short

• Responsible for extracting and indexing data from medical records.
• Collaborate with Data Operations and subject matter experts.
• Maintain performance standards according to metrics.
• Contribute to team goals as assigned by management.
• Support data mining, management, and analysis tasks.
• Assist in creating PowerPoint presentations to communicate key information.

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in public health, biology, or related fields preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in healthcare data curation or clinical research.
• Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) certification preferred.
• High accuracy in identifying and extracting medical terminology.
• Knowledge of Oncology terminology and ICD-10, CPT codes.
• Proficiency in databases and software applications.
• Strong typing skills and experience with data entry.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
