Overview

As a project Technical Consultant, you will provide technical assurance and oversight to help deliver solutions into live operational service for our suite of products across our entire customer portfolio, particularly in the blue light emergency services market.

In Short

  • Build, commission, and upgrade Control Room Software products.
  • Resolve technical issues at hardware and software levels.
  • Create and update engineering documentation.
  • Present technical solutions to stakeholders.
  • Provide technical assurance across multiple projects.
  • Evaluate new product hardware and software.
  • Engage with customers on both technical and non-technical levels.
  • Work autonomously with high standards of time management.
  • Complete tasks within deadlines and report difficulties.
  • Maintain a professional approach to all work.

Requirements

  • Educated to HND/HNC level or relevant industry experience.
  • Experience in IT server and client-based environments.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows client and server architecture.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Experience with design and documentation tools (e.g., MS Visio).
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Experience deploying Microsoft operating systems.
  • Knowledge of MySQL/MSSQL.
  • Experience with virtualization environments (Hyper-V or VMware).
  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices.
