Overview

The Service Desk Analyst role involves providing first-line IT support, managing customer inquiries, and resolving incidents to ensure minimal disruption to services.

In Short

  • 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.
  • Hybrid working from Hartlepool or Chippenham Office.
  • 24/7 shift working with 14 shifts every 28 days.
  • Manage customer mailboxes and log incidents in ITSM Tool.
  • Provide first-line investigation and diagnosis of IT issues.
  • Resolve basic hardware/software problems.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of procedures.
  • Ensure timely communication with users regarding incident progress.
  • Participate in team meetings and training.
  • Contribute to maintaining service level targets.

Requirements

  • 1st line experience in IT service support.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility and self-motivation.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Understanding of ITIL is desirable.
  • Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance.
