Senior Legal Counsel - Remote

Overview

The Senior Legal Counsel will be focused on negotiating, drafting, and approving enterprise and insurance SaaS and data licensing arrangements and supporting our North America insurance sales business.

In Short

• Support the North American insurance sales organization and go-to-market efforts.
• Advise on deal structure and contract negotiations.
• Represent Nearmap’s interests in negotiations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate external-facing contracts.

Requirements

• JD or equivalent degree, admitted to the bar in the USA.
• 7+ years of legal experience, preferably in a SaaS environment.
• Strong experience in drafting and negotiating complex contracts.
• Ability to provide pragmatic legal advice.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Broad knowledge of commercial and corporate law.
• Able to handle matters with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in MS Office and systems like Salesforce.
