Overview

As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Neara, you will create machine learning models that drive digitisation of real-world infrastructure from various data sources, working at every stage of the ML lifecycle.

In Short

• Develop accurate electric networks from imperfect data using deep learning and classical ML algorithms.
• Optimise training pipelines to reduce toil and idea-to-evaluation time.
• Scale model serving for different problems while reducing time to production.
• Improve model QA speed and identify data and distribution drift.
• Work with data sources like LiDAR, aerial photography, and GIS.
• Mentor engineers in model training and software engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Experience with Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
• Strong foundation in software engineering.
• Proficiency in frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Excellent problem-solving skills for new domains.
• Able to work effectively asynchronously on ill-defined problems.
• Proactive in owning and approaching challenges.
