Business Applications Analyst - Remote

Overview

As a Business Applications Analyst, you will leverage technology to ensure the integrity of rating systems, assisting in the development and implementation of Underwriting packaged software solutions that enhance quality and operational efficiency.

In Short

• Serve as the subject matter expert for application areas.
• Assist in developing software modification requirements and specifications.
• Maintain Packaged Software file configurations.
• Act as a liaison with business areas during development.
• Analyze application problems and develop solutions.
• Complete project tasks within allocated time and budget.
• Provide direction to junior staff members.
• Support senior team members on business projects.
• Perform key components of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Document system specifications to ensure functional requirements are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in related field.
• 5+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• 2+ years of SQL Analysis/Development experience preferred.
• Experience with Blue Quote, Facets, StepWise Rating tool is a plus.
