Security Analyst - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Security Analyst to join the team at ACS Benefit Services, a subsidiary of Blue Cross NC. This role will have responsibility for protecting all data ingress/egress, at rest, PHI/PII and all aspects of cyber security.

In Short

• Protect data ingress/egress and ensure cyber security.
• Prepare for penetration tests and various audits.
• Develop educational material on cybersecurity policies.
• Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Develop and enforce security policies and standards.
• Provide security awareness training to employees.
• Collaborate with IT teams for secure system design.
• Document security incidents and prepare reports.
• Manage sensitive data related to HIPAA and PII.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience.
• Experience in a Windows-centric environment.
• Knowledge of security compliance and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS.
• Strong Windows experience and some Linux/Unix knowledge.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple tasks.
• Experience with project management and collaboration.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a regulated industry.
• Reside in Eastern or Central US Time Zones.
