Security Analyst - Remote

Overview

As a Security Analyst at Vanta, you will be responsible for helping us demonstrate how we protect customer data and Vanta—and continue to earn the trust of our customers. You will dive deep into the security, GRC, and privacy domains to help improve existing and launch new security and compliance processes, programs, and policies where needed.

In Short

• Coordinate the response to Data Subject Access and other privacy requests
• Respond to vendor security questionnaires
• Assist with the assessment of vendor security risk
• Review and respond to security escalations
• Partner to improve security and compliance processes
• Support audit readiness
• Monitor security configurations and processes
• Create and update documents and reports
• Manage and update the Vanta platform
• Provide security and/or privacy expertise

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in an information security role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Prior demonstration of high initiative and problem-solving skills
• Ability to accept and manage change
• Desire and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently
• Helpful and resourceful
• Interest or prior experience within compliance or data privacy preferred
• Security certifications and/or formal education preferred
