Staff Software Engineer (SAP RTR) - Remote

Overview

The Staff Software Engineer (SAP RTR) will participate in the build teams engaged in project ABAP Build and Development activities, supporting the successful business adoption of a new solution aimed at transforming key Finance processes at NBCUniversal.

In Short

• Participate in project forecasting and planning sessions.
• Ensure onboarding of ABAP/Fiori project resources.
• Review Functional Specifications for completeness.
• Provide work effort estimates and update reporting tools.
• Suggest alternate technical designs aligned with Clean Core best practices.
• Complete Technical specification documentation.
• Perform SAP ABAP Development activities.
• Conduct code reviews based on NBCU standards.
• Support testing cycles and ensure quality standards.
• Collaborate with PMO teams for reporting and tracking.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• 6+ years of SAP ABAP engineering experience.
• Experience in transformation projects from SAP ECC to S/4 HANA.
• Strong ECC and S/4 HANA Development experience.
• Knowledge of SAP Clean Core principles and extensibility options.
• Experience with custom code migration to S/4 HANA.
• Practical experience in creating and enhancing CDS views.
• Knowledge of OData services and SAP technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant SAP technical certification is a plus.
