Campus Facilities Electrician - Remote

Overview

The Campus Electrician at the National Western Center (NWC) is responsible for the day-to-day event power distribution, setting and striking temporary distribution of power and assisting with electrical infrastructure for the entire NWC campus.

In Short

• Responsible for temporary power distribution for events.
• Coordinate all exhibitor electrical orders and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Assist with fire alarm and life safety systems.
• Work with systems from 0 through 480V.
• Perform operations and maintenance tasks.
• Organize and store equipment and supplies.
• Maintain knowledge of electrical safety codes.
• Collaborate with a creative and entrepreneurial team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Colorado Journeyman License required.
• 1-2 years of experience preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical safety codes and regulations.
• Forklift and Scissor Lift Certification preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Physical ability to lift and carry equipment.
