Facilities Technician - Remote

Overview

The Facilities Technician at McKesson is responsible for the maintenance, modification, troubleshooting, and repair of various electronic and electro-mechanical systems within a distribution center environment, ensuring efficient operations and safety compliance.

• Perform maintenance and repair on electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
• Conduct planned preventative maintenance on facility equipment.
• Provide electrical support for facility systems including conveyors and printers.
• Program conveyor control boards and troubleshoot motor control cabinets.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and maintain relationships.
• Train others on safety regulations and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to work various hours in a 24/7 operational environment.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs as part of physical requirements.
• Utilize CMMS programs for maintenance tracking.
• Lead and motivate team members during high-pressure situations.

Requirements

• 1+ years of related experience in facilities maintenance.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with troubleshooting control systems.
• Ability to measure voltage and current accurately.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of NEC and light electrical construction.
• Experience with Automated Storage Retrieval systems (ASR).
• Proven ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
• Flexibility with work hours and days.
• Certification in welding is a plus.
