Facilities Technician - Remote

Overview

The Facilities Technician at McKesson is responsible for maintaining the facilities in good working order through preventive maintenance, repairs, installations, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

In Short

• Maintain building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• Respond to emergencies related to building systems.
• Perform repairs, installations, and renovations as needed.
• Transport materials and tools to and from work sites.
• Ensure compliance with applicable policies and safety rules.
• Assist with various functions within the facilities management department.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and work at heights of up to 12 feet.
• Operate powered industrial trucks (e.g., Forklift).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 1+ years of related experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to operate powered industrial trucks.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Must work safely at heights of up to 12 feet.
• Previous experience in building maintenance preferred.
