Facilities Technician, Data Center - Remote

Overview

The Facilities Technician, Data Center is responsible for the delivery of best practice systems and problem resolution on all data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure.

In Short

• Maintain and monitor building systems to ensure 100% uptime.
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Record equipment readings and make necessary adjustments.
• Comply with safety policies for hazardous materials.
• Manage work orders and vendor relationships.
• Respond to site emergencies and incidents.
• Physical tasks including lifting, climbing, and navigating equipment.
• 2+ years experience in a data center or critical facility.
• Working knowledge of UPS systems and emergency backup systems.
• Demonstrated communication skills and proficiency in computer applications.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a data center/critical facility.
• Experience with building systems including UPS and generators.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office, Google Suite, and CMMS.
• Universal EPA 608 certification preferred.
• Trained in NFPA70E preferred.
