Critical Facilities Technician - Remote

Overview

The Critical Facilities Technician at JLL is responsible for maintaining and servicing critical facility systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing functions, ensuring optimal operation and safety.

• Responsible for MEP-related functions in critical facilities.
• Maintain HVAC, electrical systems, and plumbing.
• Analyze and troubleshoot system malfunctions.
• Install and repair various mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols.
• Oversee contractor activities within the facility.
• Maintain logs and records of engineering data.
• Work independently or in small teams.
• Adhere to emergency procedures and escalation processes.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in a data center or critical facility.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Operating Engineers license or equivalent preferred.
• Certification as a Universal Technician for CFCs or licensed Journeyman Electrician.
• Working knowledge of computer applications (Word, Excel).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation.
