Remote FHA/VA Underwriter

Overview

We’re working with a reputable lender seeking an experienced DE VA Underwriter to join their team. This position is fully remote, but candidates must be available to work standard Eastern Time hours. Unfortunately, this lender is not registered to have employees in the state of California.

• Position: Remote FHA/VA Underwriter
• Location: Remote (Must reside in any U.S. state except California)
• Schedule: Full-Time | Eastern Standard Time (EST) Hours Required
• Must have actively underwritten loans using DE CHUMS ID and VA LAPP/SAR designations
• Active DE CHUMS ID and VA LAPP/SAR credentials required
• Preferred experience in 203K underwriting
• Responsibilities include underwriting VA and FHA loans, reviewing conditions, and ensuring compliance
• Collaboration with internal teams to resolve loan issues
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and internal policy shifts
• Recruitment by NMS on behalf of the hiring company

Requirements

• Must have actively underwritten and signed off loans using both DE CHUMS ID and VA LAPP/SAR designations within the past 11 months
• Must reside in a U.S. state other than California
• Must be able to work a full-time Eastern Standard Time (EST) schedule
