Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor with a strong background in specialty lending to support a growing operations team. This role requires someone who can confidently manage brokered loans while maintaining accuracy, organization, and clear communication from submission through closing.

In Short

• Analyze loan files across various loan types
• Review and verify income, assets, liabilities, and borrower documentation
• Manage deadlines tied to contingencies, rate locks, and closing dates
• Conduct weekly pipeline meetings with Loan Officers
• Communicate clearly with borrowers, brokers, loan officers, and internal teams
• Submit complete, accurate files to underwriting
• Resolve suspended files and obtain missing documentation
• Coordinate appraisals, title, insurance, and verifications
• Ensure loans move efficiently and compliantly to closing

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of mortgage loan processing experience
• Strong experience manually calculating complex income scenarios
• Experience processing various loan types
• Encompass experience required
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Recent experience working for a Direct or wholesale mortgage banker
