Overview

We are hiring Underwriters for our Non- Agency Products- NO DE REQUIRED! The Wholesale Underwriter will underwrite loans in accordance with Company and Investor guidelines following company’s policies and procedures under general supervision.

In Short

• Underwrite loans in accordance with company and investor guidelines.
• Make sound underwriting decisions that meet legal and policy requirements.
• Perform thorough analysis of collateral and ensure appraisal quality.
• Communicate with clients, sales teams, and operations teams.
• Maintain confidentiality of loan applicants' information.
• Identify risk factors and detect inconsistencies in loan files.
• Review and evaluate credit information on mortgage loan documents.
• Complete credit analysis and ensure proper audits are done.
• Determine conditions and stipulations for loan approvals.
• Work in a paperless environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years mortgage underwriting work experience.
• Experience Underwriting Non Agency or Non QM Loans.
• DU and LP experience required.
• Paperless Loan Origination System experience preferred.
• High level of organizational skills.
