Narvar is growing! We are hiring a strong and motivated Sr. Engineering Manager/Engineering Manager who will partner with our product team to develop experiences for our clients and their end consumers.

In Short

Design and build highly scalable, extensible, distributed systems.
Set a high technical bar, driving continuous improvement of software design, coding and quality practices.
Lead the planning of new initiatives and assess delivery milestones.
Plan day-to-day activities for the team.
Inform the technical roadmap to address technical debt.
Improve operational observability and effectiveness of system monitoring.
Guide the team’s continuous improvement of planning and execution processes.
Mentor and grow your teammates.

Requirements

10+ years of experience as a professional software engineer.
3+ years managing technical architecture & design.
Previous startup experience strongly preferred.
Hands-on experience in several general purpose languages.
Extensive experience designing, building, and integrating with RESTful APIs.
Experience with relational and NoSQL database platforms.
Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS or GCP.
Experience building high volume, high performance products.
Experience leading Agile teams.
Strong willingness and desire to learn and mentor.
