In Short

• Help enhance digital payment systems for Africa.
• Contribute to the development & design of Rafiki web service API.
• Build business-facing features with the frontend team.
• Integrate with payment partners for reliable payments.
• Implement core business logic for customer safety.
• Launch new countries with modular code.
• Use data for decision making and customer insights.
• Automate processes to reduce support load.
• Contribute to customer-facing REST API functionalities.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in building backend services in Go.
• Experience with RDBMSs like Postgres, MySQL.
• Experience with message-broker technologies like Kafka.
• Knowledge of best practices in cloud service deployment.
• Experience working asynchronously with global teams.
• Passionate about the product and mission.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
