Canopy is a fast-growing SaaS company in South Jordan, Utah building simple, efficient software for accounting firms. We are looking to revolutionize the accounting space with modern, user-friendly software for a neglected industry.

In Short

• Hiring a Sr Backend Engineer to work with Python, Java, and Kotlin.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers and product managers.
• Implement microservice endpoints and write unit tests.
• Own service builds and deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Mentor other developers and participate in code reviews.
• Work on improving the practice management platform.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of web development experience (Python, Java, or Kotlin preferred).
• Proficiency in SQL database design and interaction.
• Knowledge of RESTful API principles.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Good communication skills.
