Senior Backend Engineer - Remote

Overview

EarnIn is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to help build products that provide financial flexibility for users living paycheck to paycheck. This role will involve designing scalable architectures and collaborating closely with Product teams.

In Short

• Design and implement new features for backend systems.
• Architect and maintain microservices integrations.

Requirements

• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience in microservices architectures and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in at least one modern backend programming language.
• Strong expertise in SQL databases; NoSQL experience is a plus.
• Experience in fintech or building 0-to-1 products.
• Experience in rapid iteration from early-stage product development.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools.
• Experience in functional and integration testing.
• Excellent communication skills for team collaboration.
