Quality Assurance (QA) Tester - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst responsible for ensuring the quality of software deliverables throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). This role involves creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test results to verify that software releases meet user requirements and are defect-free.

In Short

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and development teams to clarify requirements.
• Lead functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Write clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, and plan testing activities.
• Develop and maintain manual test suites and test cases.
• Perform thorough regression testing and validate defect fixes.
• Document and report issues clearly and thoroughly.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support for production systems.
• Implement test automation tools and approaches.
• Mentor junior team members and promote continuous improvement in QA practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 2 years as a QA Analyst or in a related role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible to changing priorities and able to manage multiple projects.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Passionate about quality with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Experience with Jira and test case management tools.
• Proficient in Front End (UI) and Back End (API) testing.
