Finance Operations Manager - Remote

Join our fast-growing team to take charge of the expanding Finance Ops, managing everything from invoices to payments as we scale to 140 people and beyond. You'll step in to drive efficiency, taking over key tasks from our external bookkeeper to boost reporting speed, streamline tax and VAT filings, and shape our financial strategy — all while reducing costs and powering our growth!

In Short

• Organize and carry out bookkeeping tasks for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset accounting.
• Work closely with the external tax office to ensure monthly closings are accurate and on time.
• Prepare and send out customer invoices.
• Review and approve employee expense reimbursement requests.
• Help set up and improve processes for international expansion.
• Coordinate, prepare, and review annual financial statements.
• Manage the dunning process for overdue payments.
• Prepare the weekly payment run.
• Experience with DATEV tools and expense management tools.
• Fluent in both German and English.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of experience in an accounting-focused finance operations role.
• Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance, Controlling, and Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of German accounting (HGB) and tax laws.
• Experience working remotely.
• Experience with SaaS software startups.
