Cloud Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

MyEyeDr. is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented IT Security Cloud Engineer to join our IT Cyber Security team. The Cloud Security Engineer helps architect, deploy and operate a secure cloud application infrastructure that aligns with business needs. The position is responsible for supporting operational innovation and providing security direction to the business to elevate the company’s security posture within a cloud computing infrastructure.

• Develop and maintain secure, resilient enterprise-grade cloud processes.
• Secure business applications across public, private or hybrid cloud infrastructures.
• Protect patient data in compliance with privacy and security frameworks.
• Conduct oversight of security systems to reduce risk.
• Document and enforce security improvements balancing risk and efficiency.
• Act in incident response and engage with security operations teams.
• Monitor and recommend initiatives based on emerging threats.
• Manage remediation efforts after security assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information assurance, cybersecurity or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in cybersecurity with 3+ years in cloud platforms.
• Strong skills in Windows security; Linux support a plus.
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IAM, and CSPM.
• Knowledge of cloud networking architecture and security.
• Proven experience in securing distributed enterprise environments.
• Healthcare experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements like HIPAA and PCI.
• Up-to-date understanding of incident response and vulnerability management.
• Track record of integrity and effective communication.
