Site Design Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Site Design Engineer will work closely with the Power Solutions and Engineering Design Managers to conduct site inspections across Australia, gather detailed information on power supply options, and develop site inspection reports.

In Short

• Conduct site inspections and develop reports
• Review switchboards for EV charging deployment
• Produce initial site plans based on inspections
• Develop design drawings for NRMA Energy installations
• Liaise with contractors on technical requirements
• Review schematics from suppliers
• Coordinate with the Acquisition team
• Travel throughout Australia as needed
• Passionate about continuous improvement
• 5+ years of engineering experience required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronic, Controls Systems)
• Qualified Electrician preferred
• 5+ years of experience in Electrical LV infrastructure design
• Connection processes with DNSP’s across Australia
• AutoCAD expertise highly regarded
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to interact with multiple functions
• Willingness to travel
• Experience with EV charging stations advantageous
